In our Local Business spotlight, we focus on listener and fellow Caps fan Lorenzo Robinson's business  HLR Courier and Shuttle, LLC . Lorenzo as you may recall last appeared on our show as part of Black History month. His business is one of the best in the area and we wanted to do our part to let as many people know about as possible.

It's an all New Year as Anna and I welcome two first time guests on the podcast, Becca Mezny and Pat Kirchner. Both are from the Commonwealth of Virginia and have been Caps fans for some time. They each will offer their own persepctive on the team as well as the results they got this week.

It was a 2-0-1 week for the Caps and we record right after the Caps dominating win over the Candiens. The "1" is our feature game and  we have a "special" message for those who blame the goalie for that loss. :P

Show #210---Christmas 2022!!! Special Guest Starring Jacob Michael

With the Mermaid still out with an injury, we call upon the experience and talent of former hockey player Jacob Michael of the Sudden Death Sports Podcast to help us out this Christmas episode.

Our Capitals gave us another great week of hockey and we go over all three wins in detail focusing on the most recent game where Alex Ovechkin passed the great Gordie Howe for second all time in most goals scored in the NHL. Jacob gives his perspective on the trials of being a player especially with rumors abound concerning an expansion of the regular season schedule. But it also looks like the forecast could be looking very good for the Caps in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

With the Mermaid still temporarily out, Cheryl Anne Forster (lovingly known as C4) joins us again to add her always hot takes on Caps hockey. We have the pleasure of going over a 3-0 week, not that the episode is missing complaints. In fact there's a segment on the Capitals' power play that should probably be labeled NSFW. There's also another plea for Caps fans to finally accept this team, warts and all, new guys and all. Wishing for old goalies to come back doesn't solve anything.

Finally, as our featured game is one that C4 attended, we also have the benefit of going over a brief meet up involving her and two other fans of both our Caps and the podcast that occurred at the game. Here's hoping more fans get on board. Tell a Caps fan you love today about us!
