It was a 1-1-1 week for Our Caps. Some good things happening, some bad. But mostly Meh. And admittedly due to holiday.....obligations, we were both not as attentive as we should have been. But we DO have an opinion on the bilious bellyaching about Alex Ovechkin.

Cheryl Anne Forster (C4) and I go over the first 4 games of the Caps Cali/Western trip with mixed results. Some bad things, but some good stuff to talk about. Some. Good. Stuff.
After we are done with the recaps, we launch into our annual Quarter pole report now that the season is 20+ games old. Naturally we're pleased with the results so far...
Emphasis on so far. There's more work to do if the Caps want to go....so far.

Anna and I go over both games with our usual....detail or attention to it. Naturally we focus on the game against Columbus which was part of our get-together with Robbie Gross of our podcast partners the Sports on the Hill Podcast.
As it also happened to be Hockey Fights Cancer night for Our Caps we have our dedicatios for whom we carry on the fight.

Anna and I go over the games in the past week vs. the Sharks, Islanders and Blue Jackets. Another 2-1 week but there's still a long way to go (and grow!) with Our Caps. The trick is not to get too high or low....

In a week where our Capitals won two out of three there were some...unusual circumstances. Anna I go over the goings on as usual.
On a personal note there is also a stern warning to those who take their privilege as fans of both the sport of ice hockey and of the Washington Capitals with no regard to the integrity of the game. Dumbassery is not to be tolerated this year.

So due to an unfortunate series of scheduling conflicts, the PPP finds itself hosted in the familiar confines of our excellent podcast content partners the Sports on the Hill Podcast
Our friend Robbie Gross acts as Producer and ably assists in a unique segment involving a video replay....unfortunately for the purposes of this edition, you'll have to rely on our dulcet tones describing the action.
