With rapid fire action, Anna and I go over the 3 games played from Super Bowl Sunday to today. Our Caps went 1-1-1 displaying a marked improvement in their overall play and still proving they can keep up (mostly) with some of the top teams in the NHL.

 

Unfortunately some of the on-ice officials are having a LOT of trouble keeping up. We got into an extended rant caused by their latest such display of incompetence as was shown the the recent game in Montreal.  Enjoy!

In or recording before the All Star break, the Mermaid and I go over a road trip for Our Caps that was almost as disastrous as a Chevy Chase Vacation movie. Joining us this week is Caps fan Troy Evans who is a star athlete in the Virginia Special Olympics who shares his experiences as a Caps fan and as a Special Olympian.

To that end he also suggests several deals to remedy said situation. Buckle up because this is the part where it gets just a tad bit hotter than an Easy Bake oven.
