Beware the False Grail!

On this my 25th episode I spend approximately 25 minutes putting to shame the NHL's latest attempt to sully the sport of hockey.  Will they never learn?  But if you're Jonesing for real hockey and aren't we all, I have something of a preview for the upcoming season.  Some thoughts as well on our as yet final unsigned free agent...hope he comes home soon.

Welcome to Vegas, baby!  Sort of....In this eppy we give the once over with regards to the latest NHL franchise and end of season awards that were doled out.  Some thought is given to next year's Expansion Draft and its consequences.  We also go over the Caps' picks in the 2016 Entry Draft as well as other related events.

And we are once again enjoying our late spring vacation from hockey...In this season wrap up, I go over what went wrong and what could have gone better for our Capitals.  Also, my long-planned rant against the local media, who, in my estimation could have at least been somewhat more supportive by being what they are supposed to be.  This will be the final weekly episode until next season,

Surviving...winning.  Sometimes there isn't much of a difference between either.  The Washington Capitals are doing both in the series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tonight is yet another do-or-die situation for our team.  In this episode I go over some things that are scary, and some that are not.  And also why, again, history doesn't have to be the enemy.  Also a brief rundown of some league news.

Our boys in Red are facing their toughest test yet.  On top of that, the wheels of NHL justice don't seem to be turning our way.  Thoughts on this, the crappy NBC coverage, and more...

Our Caps survived a bit of a scare and stood tall.  Now they face another all too familiar nemesis, the Flightless Birds from the Steel City.  Analysis of the last 3 games, including who is the team's LVP (and runner-up).  Also some stats and a preview of the upcoming series which as of this time has an unknown schedule.  Plus some other gripes and salutations.  Enjoy.

Back from the brief hiding spell, enjoying the playoffs just like you.  Random thoughts on the series thus far, Plus my pick for Caps MVP up to this point.  Lots of rambling as I'm not as organized as I'd like.  Try to enjoy!  :-)

Short shifting it today, yes Our Caps won a nifty new trinket last night that resembles a giant ashtray. Couple of emails, and a segment about the team's new whipping boy.  Seems there are others who have had the idea of letting his backside taste wood.  Or one of those comfy press box chairs,  Oh yeah, my, er, homage to said ashtray in the historical segment,

The Caps' week that was--one great game....the other, not so much.  In this week's episode I talk about why it's nowhere near time to count our Capitals out.  Also we'll go into the one player that's due for some time off and not for the right reasons.  We'll do a couple emails and go over a piece of history where three games worth of hockey were once played in one sitting!
