So our first attempt to go Live was not exactly one for the books. But Anna and I got it done. Hope you enjoy it despite the awful game result. Special thanks to Pete Fischer and Christian Levesque for their contributions that night!

Rejoice! The losing streak is over...stop mashing the panic button.
Anna and I discuss the most recent game that broke said aforementioned streak as well as the All Star goings-on (mostly the Skills Competition). Our Captain had his well deserved moment in the spotlight and we will describe that in full. Our goalie....not so much. We will describe that sort of in full.
We also take a few moments to highlight some of the ladies on the 2018 USA Womens Olympic hockey team which includes a young local player in her first Olympics.
Show must be good---even Mrs. Blueliner got in on the act a bit.
Last minute note--#92 will be "good to go" according to the latest reports....yes I know it was actually a LOWER body injury.

It has been a rough last few games for Our Washington Capitals. And though the Federal Government has shut down (temporarily) we will soldier on as only we can to deliver our quality analysis of the situation.
First phase is our customary recap of the last few games. Anna provides her insights on what she saw. I will warn you...the Caps losing does tend to put me in a VERY bad mood. So if you don't like hearing Mom and Dad fight, you may want to sit this one out...

Anna ended up with shpilkes in her genechtagazoink so she will not being joining us this week.
Kidding, she will be back next week. She just had some fanily obligations to attend to. Over and over again.
Filling in is our Special Guest Chris Levesque of the True Caps Fans Facebook room. He provides his personal history as a fan of the game and of the Caps. We also go over the past few games as well as key talking points in the upcoming few months in the Caps' schedule.
Chris also has been keeping tabs on this year's World Junior Hockey Championship tournament and provided his keen observations from what he's seen thus far.
