Anna returns for this episode after an extended break and doesn't hold back in her opinions on the Caps' recent, uhhh inconsistent play of late. And neither do I. HINT---the language gets a bit foul. Think of milk 2 weeks beyond its sell by date.

The two losses (especially the one I attended) are gone over in painful detail, but with a twist of hope for the future as that's what we're all about here. Anna also puts in her $0.02 about the lineup changes for better or for worse.

At the time of the recording it had yet to be announced that Evgeny Kuznetsov would be a last minute replacement in the 2022 NHL All Star game. Congrats!

Fortunately I am ably assisted in the quest for veracity by two returning experts: Bradley Silvestro of the Just A Fan Youtube videos and the Stat Guy Blake Allen of the Chirpin' DMV podcast.

After a detailed recapping of the three games played (WPG, @BOS and OTT) we attempt to address the budding goalie controversy and try to address the question of obtaining a rental goalie for the playoffs.

We welcome longtime Caps fan Willem Bagchus to the podcast with Mrs. Blueliner Jennie helping out with the Mermaid still out on holiday.

Willem shares his perspective his which are based on his roots growing up in Montreal rooting for a team you might have heard of---Les Canadiens. Needless to say he has a lot to offer from watching all the hockey played there.

Overall it was a meh week on ice with one win sandwiched by two losses, and we go over a wide variety of topics including the so-called goaltending problem and the Power Play.
